Update: Jerry L. Gardner has been found and is reported safe, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday afternoon. Gardner was located in the Town ‘N Country area of Hillsborough County.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is asking area residents to keep their eyes open for a missing Safety Harbor man.

Deputies say Jerry L. Gardner, 73, was last seen around 4 a.m. Wednesday at his home on Harbor Lake Circle.
Gardner, who is described as “endangered” by deputies, is about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has blue eyes, salt-and-pepper hair that is balding and a gray beard. He was last seen wearing burgundy pajamas.

Deputies say Gardner is driving a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze that is gold in color and has Florida tag No. 235TKG.
Gardner requires medication, deputies wrote in an email to media, and may be in a confused state of mind.
Anyone who sees him or the four-door Cruze is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency immediately.
