Search On for Safety Harbor Burglary Suspects

​Pinellas deputies say three people wanted in connection with a burglary in Safety Harbor may also be involved in crimes in Clearwater.​

SAFETY HARBOR, FL — The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is looking for help identifying three people its deputies say are responsible for a Wednesday home burglary in Safety Harbor.

According to the sheriff’s office, the crime occurred just before 10 a.m. at a home on Harbor Oaks Circle. Three people are accused of forcing their way into the home through a rear sliding glass door. Once inside, they ransacked the master bedroom, the sheriff’s office said.

The homeowner reported an estimated $2,200 worth of jewelry and watches swiped during the crime.

Three people, believed to be in their late teens to early 20s, are wanted in connection with the crime, the sheriff’s office said. The burglary was captured on the victim’s surveillance video.

The three suspects may also be connected to a residential burglary attempt in Clearwater. Police there say three males were seen fleeing from a home in a stolen green, Toyota RAV4. The vehicle has Florida tag No. L49OEG on it. It had been reported stolen out of Clearwater last week.
