1. Safety Harbor Trash, Recycling Changes Set to Begin

Starting Monday, Sept. 30, your trash and recycling collections will be changing. Trash, recycling and yard waste pickups will now be once a week.

2. Woman Charged with Stealing from Walgreens

Kimberly Jencik, 36, allegedly stole make-up, personal hygiene products, ear phones and a USB port from the Walgreens at 2519 McMullen Booth Road. 

3. Homeowners Rally Against Flood Insurance Rates

As thousands of Tampa Bay area residents brace for new, higher flood insurance rates, some homeowners are taking it upon themselves to fight back.

4. Tourism Continues to Increase in Pinellas

For 24 consecutive months, Pinellas County tourism taxes collected have increased, according to the latest report from the Tourist Development Council.  

5. Thin Mint Sprint and Tagalong Trot to Run Through Safety Harbor

The race, where registration is already full, is designed to promote healthy living in partnership with the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida.
