What To Know If You Go: 3rd Friday August 2013

It's that time again! Yes, this Friday is Third Friday for August 2013 in downtown Safety Harbor.

As we know, the past couple of month's events were affected by the unusually wet weather we have been experiencing on the Gulf Coast this summer.

While there are storms forecast for later in the week, hopefully Mother Nature will cooperate and keep this Third Friday high and dry.

Again there will be a special booth mixed among the usual assortment of vendors, as Safety Harbor Fire Department officials will be collecting donations for a special 9/11 memorial they plan on erecting in town.

Also, there will be a donation center set up at Nolan's Pub to help benefit the Countryside High School colorguard and winterguard programs, which are in danger of being cancelled due to lack of funds.

• Where: Main Street, from 6th Avenue to the intersection of Bayshore Boulevard.

• Parking: Any of the public lots downtown, including the one adjacent to City Hall on 8th Avenue South, and behind the Harbor Pointe complex at the east end of Main Street; side street parking where permitted.
