Joey Biscotti Closed Today

Rustic bakery Joe Biscotti will be closed today, July 26, because the owners are moving to a new home in Safety Harbor. They'll reopen "bright and early" at 9 a.m. Saturday, according to a Board post on Patch.

Safety Harbor in HGTV's Spotlight!

In case you missed it, HGTV filmed for an episode of its show, "Extreme Homes," at the Whimzeyland complex. How cool is that?

Weekend Weather

It's shaping up to be a nice weekend, weather wise, across Tampa Bay, with highs around 90 degrees and only about a 20 to 30 percent chance of scattered or isolated thunderstorms. We've still got a few days before Tropical Storm Dorian, now swirling in the Atlantic, comes anywhere near Florida, if at all.
