Lakewood Ranch Home Builder Poised to Double Sales in 2013

Lakewood Ranch builder Nelson Homes Inc. sold 15 homes in the first quarter of 2013.

The number is significant because it is nearly half of all new home sales the company reported in 2012, according to the Bradenton Herald.

The company, which opened its franchise in Lakewood Ranch in 2010, had 12 sales in 2011 and 33 sales in 2012.

The new home builder has already experienced two price increases this year. The average sales price at Nelson Homes is $711,253.

Nelson Homes has doubled its Lakewood Ranch office space, and is hiring more staff.
