15-Year-Old Arrested For Bringing Handgun To Chamberlain High
Tampa Police arrested a 15-year-old Chamberlain High School student after finding an unloaded handgun in his possession.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Police arrested a 15-year-old Chamberlain High School student Wednesday after a school resource officer discovered he brought an unloaded handgun to school.
The school resource officer assigned to Chamberlain High School, 9401 North Boulevard, Tampa, learned that the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office had an active warrant against the teen for grand theft auto.
When the teen arrived at school Wednesday morning, the school resource officer escorted him to the administrative offices. During a search of the teen, the officer discovered the handgun. He was arrested for possession of a firearm on school grounds and minor in possession of a weapon in addition to the grand theft auto charge.
