2 People Shot, Seriously Injured In University Area

TAMPA, FL -- Detectives are searching for a man seen running from the scene of a double shooting at the Armenia Gables Condominiums in the University Area.

Around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies were called to Armenia Gables Circle for a report of shots fired. Deputies found two people had been shot. One was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital and the other to Tampa General Hospital. Both have serious injuries.

Surveillance cameras captured a man running from the scene who detectives want to question. He is white with a thin build, in his mid-20s, 5 feet 10 inches tall with shoulder-length blonde hair. He was last seen wearing a black and blue plaid jacket with a gray hood and black jeans.
