Concrete Thrown Through Window at Dollar General

The incident was reported to the Tampa Police Department.

Authorities are searching for someone they say threw a piece of concrete through a window at a Dollar General store near Seminole Heights earlier this week.

Around 5:32 a.m. on Monday, two people tried to enter the store at 3502 E. Hillsborough Avenue by tossing the concrete through the front window of the store, according to a report from the Tampa Police Department.

Once inside, they took "clothing merchandise" worth $117, the report said.

The suspects left through the broken window, and fled westbound on foot, the report said.

The incident was captured on video, and fingerprints and blood were collected by authorities at the scene.

The first suspect is described as a black male about 5'10, 150 pounds with a thin build, low haircut, no shirt, black shorts, red boxers and black shoes. The second suspect is between 22-29 years old, black male, 5'11, about 200 pounds, medium complexion, wearing a Mariners baseball cap, red shorts and white shoes.
