45-Foot Cuban Sandwich from Competition to be Donated to Trinity Cafe
The competition will be held on Saturday, July 27.

A cafe known for serving the homeless, hungry and working poor will benefit from local restaurants attempting a salivating feat on Saturday afternoon.
Tampa Bay restaurants are making another attempt at breaking the world record for making the biggest cuban sandwich in the world from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hillsborough Community College's Ybor City campus, 2001 N. 14th St. The 45-foot sandwich will then be donated to Trinity Cafe, 2801 N. Nebraska Avenue in the Seminole Heights area.
"Trinity Cafe is able to operate and feed those in need because of charitable donations, small and large, from our community," said Cindy Davis, program director. "The donation of this 45-foot Cuban sandwich is just another example of the goodness of people who want to be sure this food will be served to people who may not eat otherwise."
Restaurants who are participating include: Faedo’s On The Go, Stone Soup Company, Docho’s, Papa Joe’s, Danny’s All American Diner, La Teresita, Country Market & Deli and The Columbia.
