Video: Deputies Rescue Raccoon From Jarring Experience

Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies came to the rescue when a raccoon with a plastic jar stuck on its head.

TAMPA, FL — Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies came to the rescue when a raccoon with a plastic jar stuck on its head was spotted in the parking lot of the District 1 office at 14102 N. 20th St. in Tampa.

The young raccoon was scared and confused, running into the parking stops and curbing as it tried to escape from the offending jar.

When Deputy Michael Grace attempted to remove the jar from the little guy's head, it climbed a tree to escape. Grace climbed up the tree after it, nudging the raccoon until it fell off a branch and onto a sheet deputies were holding below.
