March/Rally to Stop the TBX I-275 Boondoggle
Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11am Join the Growing Coalition of Neighborhoods standing up against FDOT's plan to widen I-275
Join us April 2, 2016 and make this the largest protest march to StopTBX!
On April 2nd at 11am, we will march near Malfunction Junction in Tampa Heights and VM Ybor, highlighting the impacts that urban highway construction and expansion has had on Tampa's urban core, and the additional harm TBX expansion will cause to neighborhoods still struggling to recover from FDOT's past "improvements".
We are meeting at the Tampa Youth Development & Community Center, which is itself a target of TBX, and will have to be moved from its current location if TBX is built.

The march is 1.5 miles long, about the same as the last march. It should take about 45 minutes to an hour to complete.
Please refer to the parking map posted in this event's discussion for where to park. Parking should be free where marked, please do not block any driveways.
