New Report Ranks Florida’s Best School Districts
Niche.com's latest K-12 rankings for 2019 are out. See how your school district fared.

Niche has ranked Florida’s best school districts for 2019 and the St. Johns County School District is the No.1 school district in the state. Sarasota County Schools ranked second.
The rankings were released this week by Niche as part of its 2019 K-12 rankings. Niche ranked a total of 67 school districts in Florida. Others in the top five were Seminole County Public Schools, Collier County Public Schools and the Okaloosa County School District.
Hillsborough County Public Schools, Miami-Dade County Public Schools and Pinellas County Schools each received a B grade. The Pasco County School District and the Manatee County School District each received a B - grade. Polk County Public Schools received a C + grade.

According to Niche, the Jericho Union Free School District in Jericho, New York, is the best school district in the country overall. With an overall Niche grade of A+, the district received a grade of A+ in academics, teachers, clubs and activities, college prep and health and safety. In the category of diversity, Niche awarded the school district a B+.
To arrive at these rankings, Niche looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data and ratings collected from Niche users. (You can read more about the methodology here.)
