Residents Invited To Dine Out April 11 To Fight AIDS

For the 13th year, Tampa Bay restaurants have joined together to support the fight against HIV by participating in Dining Out For Life.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL -- Tampa Bay residents are invited to enjoy a night out at their favorite restaurants on Thursday while raising money for a worthy cause.

For the 13th year, Tampa Bay restaurants have joined together to support the fight against HIV by participating in Dining Out For Life.

Part of an international program, Dining Out For Life Tampa Bay supports Empath Partners in Care, 3050 1st Ave. S., St. Petersburg, in its fight against HIV/AIDS.

More than 50 Tampa Bay restaurants will take part on April 11 by donating a portion of all sales to EPIC.

Since it began, Dining Out For Life has raised more than $4 million nationally to provide vital services to people living with HIV/AIDS. In 2016, more than $35,000 was raised to fight HIV/AIDS in Tampa Bay.

And all residents need to do is eat breakfast, lunch or dinner at one of the participating restaurants on April 11. S

This year, Brew Bus Brewing, 4101 N. Florida Ave., Tampa, will host a kick-off party Wednesday, April 10 from 4 to 10 p.m.

Brew Bus Brewing will donate 20 percent of all proceeds to EPIC. The party will include live music starting at 7 p.m.

Participating restaurants will continue to be added up to 24 hours before Dining Out For Life. Restaurants participating to date are:
