Road Closures Include Florida and Hillsborough Avenues

Attention, drivers: The Florida Department of Transportation recently announced road closures for next week.

Take note if you're commuting to work or headed downtown to hang out.

Here's the list:

• Courtney Campbell Causeway between the Hillsborough/Pinellas County Line and Rocky Point Drive; Repaving; Nightly lane closures Sunday – Thursday from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.

• Dale Mabry Highway between Kennedy Boulevard and Hillsborough Avenue; Concrete repair/repaving; Nightly lane closures Sunday – Wednesday from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

• Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard between I-4 and Laura Street; Repaving; Intermittent nightly lane closures Sunday – Thursday between 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. and intermittent daily lane closures Monday – Friday between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

• Florida Avenue between East Violet Street and Sligh Avenue; Repaving; Continuous lane closures Sunday – Saturday, 24 hours a day.
