Sheriff Seeks Help Locating Man Who Fatally Shot Neighbor

TAMPA, FL -- A man has died following a shooting Sunday, March 17 at an apartment complex in the Uptown District of Tampa.

At 6:30, Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies responded to 13712 19th St. N. in the University Area for reports of shots fired. When deputies arrived they found the man who had been shot had been transported to AdventHealth hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Deputies learned the victim and his neighbor got into an altercation and, at some point, the victim was shot. Deputies are currently looking for the shooter.
