Speeding is all over Seminole Heights. Yesterday we stood an hour at Ola and Henry. which was the first time in Old Seminole Heights. Before we were in South Seminole Heights. I went to both standings (as I call them in South Seminole Heights and now in my area Old Seminole Heights. We try to do this in the early morning rush hours 7-8 and then yesterday in the afternoon rush hour 5-6. Because I do not live in that immediate area I was not aware of all the traffic that comes down Ola off Hillsborough. Amazing. I am sure some folks live in the area and some cut through heading home and wanting to get off Hillsborough.
There were 4 of us, three from Old Seminole Heights and one person from South because they want to support us as we do them. I realize the time to do this is difficult for some of you who work (I am retired)
We will continue to do this event but weneed more neighbors . If you have issues on your blocks we can show you what to do, how to do it and give you the materials. Come join us.

Does this make a change? I think so. Neighbors see us out there reminding all of us to be careful in our area. I know I am more aware of my driving. We will be posting future events so come join us.
