Tampa Police Motorcade Escorts Santa For Special Delivery

SULPHUR SPRINGS, FL -- Santa got a police escort to Sulphur Springs K-8 Community School to make a special delivery to students and teachers at the school Friday, Dec. 21.

A police motorcade led Santa's sleigh to the school at 8412 N. 12th St. for the 16th annual Sulphur Springs Holiday Gift Exchange.

The annual event was coordinated by longtime City of Tampa employee and community leader Carla Lewis, who died on July 26. Thousands of gifts supplied by volunteers and donated by organizations were delivered to the school where hundreds of excited students waited.
