Tampa Ranks Among The Best For Valentine's Day
A study released by WalletHub ranks the city 15th best out of 100.
TAMPA, FL — When it comes to sweet places to celebrate Valentine’s Day, Tampa ranks among the best of the best.
That’s according to the folks at WalletHub who recently released an analysis of the best and worst cities for Valentine’s Day. The website, dedicated to all things personal finance, ranked 100 of the country’s most populated cities based on such factors as restaurant meal costs, attractions, jewelry stores per capita and anticipated Valentine’s Day weather.
After the number crunchers did their work, San Francisco came out on top with first-place honors. The top five was rounded out by Scottsdale, Ariz., Honolulu, Hawaii, Orlando and Seattle. Tampa ranked 15th best overall.

Tampa’s numbers were bolstered by high marks in a few categories. It was named No. 7 in number of restaurants per capita, 14th in the number of florists per capita and 10th in nightlife options.

Tampa was also recently named the fourth best place in the country for weddings.
