On Sunday, October 27 from noon – 4 p.m., the VM Ybor Neighborhood Association will host its Fifth Annual Home Tour.
VM Ybor is located just north of Ybor City and has held an important place in local history. It is an historic gem, tucked just north of Ybor City and minutes from downtown Tampa.
This “not so typical” home tour features the eclectic, diverse and historic V.M. Ybor community. The tour includes 8 historic homes, a state-of-the-art design studio in an historic brick storefront, and the former V.M. Ybor Grammar School. It will be sure to please local Tampa residents, historians, and visitors alike.
The self guided tour will begin from the Academy Prep Center of Tampa (former V.M. Ybor Grammar School located at 1407 E. Columbus Drive), where guests will receive neighborhood maps and information on each of the featured properties.
New this Year: A Refreshing Watering Hole
Cigar City Brewing will be hosting a beer tasting at the tour’s mid-point – enjoy a great sampling of some terrific locally brewed beers inspired by Florida’s unique foods and fauna.
