100 Images Of Nude Children Found On Tampa Man's Computer: Police

A 60-year-old Tampa man is facing 100 counts of possession of child pornography after Tampa police seized his computer and other devices.

TAMPA, FL — A 60-year-old Tampa man is facing 100 counts of possession of child pornography after Tampa police seized his computer and other electronic devices.

On Feb. 8, Tampa police detectives began an undercover internet investigation to find computers in the Tampa area that were offering to distribute files containing child pornography.

They traced one computer to 510 E. Harrison St., #626, Tampa, where the owner advertised the availability of 56 files of child pornography on an internet site between Dec. 5 and Feb. 5.

In the early morning hours of April 15, detectives executed a search warrant at the home of Ric Adams and seized his computer and other electronic devices. They were taken to the Tampa Police Cyber Crimes Lab for forensic review, and analysts recovered 100 images of child pornography including images of nude children between the ages of 2 and 15 years old, with many images depicting children being sexually battered.

On Tuesday morning, the Tampa Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit arrested Adams and charged him with 100 counts of possession of child pornography.
