35-Year-Old Man Dies When Pickup Truck Overturns On I-275

TAMPA, FL — A 34-year-old Tampa man died and his 35-year-old passenger suffered serious injuries after he lost control of his pickup truck on Interstate 275.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 3:13 a.m. Wednesday, the driver was traveling south on I-275 when he lost control at a curve, collided with a guardrail and overturned.

As the truck overturned, the driver was ejected and died at the scene.
