All Tampa Parks, Pools, Beaches To Reopen Monday
The city of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department announced they will reopen all of its parks, dog parks and beaches on Saturday, May 16.

TAMPA, FL — The city of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department announced they will reopen all of its parks, dog parks and beaches on Saturday, May 16.
This comes after the May 4 reopening of 13 city park trails, beaches and dog parks reopened.
The reopenings Monday are contingent on residents practicing social distancing and gathering in groups no larger than 10.

Included in the reopenings are:
- Open 0utdoor spaces
- Kayak and canoe launches
- Tennis, pickle ball, handball and racquetball courts (maximum of two people per court)
- Disc golf courses
- Walking trails
- Skate parks
- Athletic fields (must contact Athletics at 813-731-9432 to reserve use)
- Restrooms
Picnic shelters, playgrounds, outdoor exercise equipment, basketball courts, volleyball courts and splash pads will remain closed.

The following year-round pools will also open May 16, but be limited to lap swimming by appointment only:

- Cuscaden, 2900 N. 15th St.
- Cyrus Greene, 2101 E. Dr. MLK Blvd.
- Del Rio, 10105 North Boulevard
- Interbay, 4321 W. Estrella St.
- Loretta Ingraham, 1611 N. Hubert Ave.
- Roy Jenkins, 154 Columbia Drive
- Sulphur Springs, 701 E. Bird St.
To reserve lap swim time, call the pool you would like to use. Appointments can be made for the current day only and will be limited to a maximum of one hour. For pool hours and contact information, click here.
