Artists Invited To Submit Works To heART Of Ybor Contest

The Ybor City Development Corp. is calling on Tampa artists to submit their entries showing what Ybor City means to them.

TAMPA, FL ? As a continuation of the Heart of Tampa campaign celebrating the city's history, diversity and collective economic impact on the area, the Ybor City Development Corp. is calling on Tampa artists to submit their entries showing what Ybor City means to them in the heART of Ybor Community Art Contest.

Express your artistic creativity with a choice of mixed mediums from traditional painting and drawing to digital art, performance and even an out-of-the-box category.

  • Submissions will be accepted through Friday, Oct. 22.
  • Three winners will be selected in each category and announced on the contest website and Ybor City Development Corp.?s social media the first week in November.
  • Winners will receive media exposure, gift cards to Ybor City businesses and the love of the Ybor community.

Artists should submit one interpretation of what Ybor City means to them and their life in Tampa. There is a limit of one entry per category per person.
