Bavaro's Tampa To Celebrate Meatball Day
Get a free meatball and help Bavaro's celebrate its 12th anniversary.

TAMPA, FL — Bavaro’s Pizza Napoletana & Pastaria in Tampa is celebrating its 12th anniversary National Meatball Day Tuesday with a special offer for a free meatball.
“We are grateful and appreciative that Tampa embraced our concept back in 2009,” founder Dan Bavaro said. “While downtown Tampa was then re-emerging back then, look at the boom now."
In honor of the milestone and National Meatball Day, all three Bavaro’s locations will offer a free handcrafted ricotta meatball with every guest purchase of an entrée on Tuesday. The meatballs have been big sellers in Tampa, St. Petersburg and Sarasota. The free meatball offer is also available through take-out and delivery.

The Bavaro’s story began in 2009 when Bavaro relocated his wife and five children from New Jersey to open the first Bavaro’s in downtown Tampa. Besides scouting Tampa as the first perspective restaurant, Bavaro did extensive research in Italy to perfect his signature craft of the Napoletana-style of baking pizza.
In addition to Bavaro’s in downtown Tampa at 514 N. Franklin St., Bavaro’s has locations in St. Petersburg at 945 Central Ave. and Sarasota at 27 Fletcher Ave.
