Augustine Lee, M.D., has joined BayCare Medical Group and is practicing at 4301 N. Habana Ave. Dr. Lee is board certified in colon, rectal and general surgery, and is part of BayCare Medical Group serving the Tampa community. He is accepting new patients age 18 and older.

Dr. Lee’s professional interests include disorders of the intestinal tract, colon, rectum, anal canal and perianal area. He provides both medical and surgical care for a
variety of diseases that affect the lower gastrointestinal tract with special focus on the optimal treatment of colorectal cancers, as well as benign disorders like ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, diverticulitis and anorectal maladies.

Dr. Lee earned his doctor of medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He continued his medical education with a general surgery residency at the State University of New York Downstate in Brooklyn and a rectal surgery fellowship at the University of University of Texas Southwestern-Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas.

Dr. Lee is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. He speaks Spanish and is affiliated with St. Joseph’s Hospital.
