Car Riddled With Bullet Holes On I-275; Driver Fatally Shot
Tampa police are investigating the death of a 22-year-old man found shot in a car on Interstate 275 Tuesday night.
TAMPA, FL — Tampa police are investigating the death of a 22-year-old man found shot in a car on Interstate 275 Tuesday night.
Police responded to a report of a car crashing into a guardrail in the southbound lanes of I-275 north of Busch Boulevard at 11:22 p.m. and found a 2015 blue Dodge with multiple bullet holes and the driver with a gunshot wound to his upper body.
He was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The southbound lanes of the interstate between Busch and Fowler Avenue were closed until 6:30 a.m. so the crime scene could be processed.
