City Of Tampa: Celebratory Gunfire Injury

07/05/2021

On 7/4/21 at approximately 11:52 PM, the victim was on the top floor of the Poe Parking Garage, sitting in a vehicle with the door open. The victim's body was siting partially outside of the vehicle when the victim was struck in the wrist with what appeared to be celebratory gunfire. The victim and witnesses did not hear or see anyone who could have fired the round. The origin of the gunfire is unknown.
The victim was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
