The City of Tampa Seeks Disaster Preparedness Recruits

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a FEMA program that educates the community about disaster preparedness!!!

TAMPA, FL — The City of Tampa Emergency Operations Center is seeking CERT recruits for its upcoming class.

CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) members, assist with neighborhood disaster preparedness within your community.

Classes will be forming as soon as cleared to resume, due to COVID 19. Your safety is our utmost importance...

CERT is a FEMA-funded program that educates volunteers about disaster preparedness and the hazards that may impact your area. Volunteers are trained on basic response skills such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization and disaster medical operations.
