Coldwell Banker relocates Tampa sales office to Westshore 500

Colliers International Tampa Bay represented the landlord in the 8,139-square-foot lease

Tampa, Fla. (Sept. 27, 2016) – Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, LLC has leased an 8,139-square-foot office space in Westshore 500, a 10-story Class A office building in Tampa’s Westshore Business District.

The new space will serve as the company’s Westshore sales office, as well as the headquarters for its West Central Regional Administration office, the Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT Sales office, and the State Director for Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT. Previously, these operations were headquartered out of a nearby space at 5010 W. Kennedy Blvd.

Claire Calzon, Managing Director of Office Services, and Joanne LeBlanc, Senior Associate of Office Services with Colliers International Tampa Bay, represented the landlord, Fairlead Commercial Real Estate LLC. Ingrid Fulmer, Senior Leasing Advisor, and Craig Scafidi with Coldwell Banker Commercial represented the tenant.

When Fairlead purchased the Westshore 500 building in early 2015, the occupancy rate was around 78 percent. With the addition of Coldwell Banker, the property is now 94 percent occupied.

“The Westshore 500 location was chosen to better serve Coldwell Banker’s clientele in this area, and positions the firm in the heart of one of Tampa Bay’s largest, liveliest and fastest-growing business districts,” said Colliers’ Calzon. “Additionally, Fairlead’s recent $2 million renovation of the building further solidifies the ownership’s commitment to the Tampa Bay market, while maintaining Westshore 500 as a Class A building.”

The Westshore district is the largest commercial market in Tampa Bay and is also one of the largest office communities in Florida – with over 15 million square feet of office space, 7,000 businesses and nearly 107,000 employees.

The Westshore 500 building, which has approximately 130,000 rentable square feet, is situated at the intersection of West Shore Boulevard and I-275, providing convenient access to major interstate systems, Tampa International Airport, and bridges that connect to Pinellas County. The property is also adjacent to WestShore Plaza, a major regional mall.

The Coldwell Banker office will be located at 500 N. West Shore Blvd., Suite 850, in Tampa.
