TAMPA, FL — Hillsborough County Public Schools has launched a website to provide information on how students, parents, district staff and the community can provide input on the district’s search for the next superintendent.

Current Superintendent Jeff Eakins has announced plans to retire at the end of this school year.

A community survey is now live and everyone is invited to share what leadership qualities, expertise and experiences matter most to them in a superintendent. The community survey is available in six different languages: English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, Traditional Chinese, Arabic and Hindi, recognizing the district’s diverse population.
