Derek Jeter Selling $29 Million Mansion Now Rented By Tom Brady
At just under 22,000 square feet, the mansion is the largest in South Tampa.
TAMPA, FL — Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady could be searching for new digs if former New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter gets his asking price of $29 million for his seven-bedroom, 16-bathroom mansion on Davis Islands.
- Address: 58 Bahama Cir, Tampa, Florida
- Price: $29,000,000
- Square Feet: 21796
- Bedrooms: 7
- Bathrooms: 8 Full and 8 Half Baths
- Built: 2011
Jeter and his wife Hannah settled into Coconut Grove in Miami three years ago after Jeter became CEO and co-owner of the Marlins. He began renting the mansion to his longtime friend, Tom Brady, when the Patriots' championship quarterback defected to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in April.
Brady, his supermodel wife, Gisele Bundchen, and his children, has been temporarily living in the mansion, nicknamed St. Jetersburg, while Jeter prepared to sell the estate.

Brady certainly has the option to purchase it, but he said he's uncomfortable with the fact that boaters can pull right up to his backyard dock. Although the 1.25-acre Davis Islands property is surrounded by a wall, Brady said he preferred the seclusion of his old Brookline, Massachusetts, mansion.
That means the estate is available to the first billionaire willing to pay $29 million.

“This is the most impressive home to ever hit the market in the Tampa Bay area,” said listing agent Stephen Gay of Smith & Associates Real Estate.
At just under 22,000 square feet, the mansion is the largest in South Tampa. Constructed with hand-carved Connecticut granite and limestone, the mansion has a massive portico entryway leading to solid wood double doors.
The architect and designer recruited local craftsmen to create the solid hardwood millwork, hand-polished Venetian plaster, tailored silk draperies and marble mosaic tiles.
In contrast to these Old World details, the estate is outfitted with state-of-the-art home automation that controls almost every aspect of the home including the security, lighting, window treatments, climate and entertainment systems.
From the 24-foot foyer with floor-to-ceiling glass windows to the master retreat, the estate offers waterfront views from nearly every room.
The home features almost 9,000 square feet of outdoor covered porches and balconies, a dock with two boat lifts, bubbling fountains, a heated spa and a 80-foot saltwater lap pool.
One of the most unique features of the home is the expansive clubroom that has a full-service bar, billiards and game table, multiple TVs and a sitting area. The glass corner wall of this room completely opens up to take advantage of its outdoor porch overlooking the water.
The gourmet kitchen is large enough for a professional staff, but was smartly designed so that a budding chef can find his way around. It features two islands, a 60-inch Wolf Range, Subzero fridge and freezer columns, four dishwashers, a warming drawer, ice maker, extra oven, microwave, four sinks, a butler's pantry and a walk-in pantry with a glass-front Subzero fridge.
The seven-bedroom-, eight full- and 8 1/2-bath-home boasts an intimate owner's retreat with a seating area and fireplace, two spacious custom closets, a spa-like bath with steam shower and opens to a private balcony.
There's also a wine cellar, in-home movie theater, professional gym, in-law suite, an au-pair wing complete with a living area and kitchen, outdoor kitchen and grilling area, full home generator, air-conditioned garage to accommodate six cars, scullery and additional laundry room.
