Elton John Is Coming To Tampa On Nov. 4 With His Farewell Tour

TAMPA, FL — The legendary Elton John will be playing at the Amalie Arena on his farewell road trip. Tampa fans can get tickets now to the “Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour” on Nov. 4 to see Elton perform his classic hits.

After almost 50 years in show business, this amazing entertainer is playing around the world on what will be his last tour. Bringing his incredible vocals and showmanship to every show, this is Elton’s way of thanking fans for all the years of support. The “Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour” launched in September of 2018 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and after more than 300 shows, Elton will wrap with a finale performance in London on Dec. 16, 2020.

Elton has won several awards and honors throughout the years. His induction into the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame in 1992 was followed in 1994 with his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. 1994 also saw Elton knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for his “services to music and charitable services.” Other honors include the Disney Legends Award in 2006 and the PRS for Music Heritage Award in 2010, which is displayed in Northwood, London at The Namaste Lounge Pub where Elton first played at the age of 15.

Elton’s tour is filled with many of his timeless hits that will have fans singing along, including “Someone Saved My Life Tonight” and “Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting,” with “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” the obvious choice as his encore song. The farewell tour has been greeted around the world to sold out audiences and has already won a Billboard Music Award for Top Rock Tour.
