FDOT Releases South Tampa Lane Closures Due to Construction
The closures may alter commutes for South Tampa drivers.
Attention, drivers:
Some South Tampa roads will be closed this week (May 13) due to construction projects by the Florida Department of Transportation.

- Roadways below the Selmon Expressway will be closed. Those include: Twiggs Street between Meridian and Nebraska avenues, Whiting Street from East Street to Nebraska Avenue, Kennedy Boulevard from Nebraska Avenue to Governor Street, Brorein between Jefferson and Morgan and Jefferson Street between Whiting and Brorein streets.
- Lane closures will occur on I-4 between exits 1 and 3.
- State Road 60 may be closed at night east of downtown Tampa.
