This is Betty-Jean Park's medical foster dog, Baloo. He was rescued from Miami-Dade County by Big Hearts for Big Dogs Rescue after being found with severe head trauma, lacerations, fractures to jaw, face, skull. The vet ponders believes an axe or machete-like instrument was used in attack on poor Baloo. Baloo is recovering well and the sweetest lap dog. He will be up for adoption once he is fully recovered.
