CDC To Offer Free Custodial, Landscaping Job Training
Free training in the areas of landscaping and custodial services

TAMPA, FL — So many people have lost jobs due not just to the pandemic, but to new technology as well. For people wishing to change careers, free job training is being offered in the areas of landscaping and custodial services. Both of those fields are hiring more than before, also due to coronavirus.
The following landscaping programs will be offered on Wednesday, Oct. 13, with certification given, in Green Industries Best Practices Management and Urban Landscape Commercial Fertilizer. Training is provided by University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences.
Custodial services training will be offered on October 14, 15 and November 16 and 17, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., provided by University Area CDC.

Registration is limited and is required by contacting Josie Rocco at 813.558.5212 ext. 208 or jrocco@uacdc.org. Training will take place at University Area Community Center at 14013 N. 22nd Street Tampa, FL 33613.
