Hillsborough County Seeks Summer Camp Leaders; Pay Is $15 An Hour

Young adults looking for a summer job could make $15 an hour by becoming a summer camp leader for Hillsborough County.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — Young adults looking for a summer job could make $15 an hour by becoming a summer camp leader for Hillsborough County.

The Hillsborough County Parks & Recreation is now hiring summer camp leaders. This is an opportunity to work outside, get some experience and have fun while earning a paycheck.

Camp leaders plan, coordinate and supervise recreational activities at county parks, enforces departmental policies, and prepares the recreational facility for activities, including assisting with delivery, setup and removal of equipment and materials.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED certificate, six months of experience in organized recreational programs, first aid and CPR training and a valid Florida driver's license.

Those hired must complete the state-mandated 40-hour Introductory Child Care Training within 90 days of employment.
