A scared, hungry and injured cat was rescued by Tampa Police officers Monday after trying to climb under a police cruiser.
TAMPA, FL — It proved to be a cat's day afternoon for Tampa Police Monday.
A scared, hungry and injured cat was rescued by Tampa Police officers after trying to climb under a police cruiser.
Officers dubbed him Fairbanks. He was brought to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay where he will be treated and placed for adoption.

Tampa officers also rescued a litter kittens that managed to get stranded in a boat at the Mahi Marina in Tampa. Most likely, the mother cat climbed on board the boat to give birth.
All the kittens have found homes.
