LAND O' LAKES — Lennar Tampa has announced the creation of its first crowdsourced amenity for the Land O’Lakes single-family home community, Connerton, 21100 Fountain Garden Way.

The newest amenity, soft opening in mid-October, was originally a welcome center for the community and has been repurposed based on community input from neighbors.

The adaptive reuse building, originally named Rose Cottage, will be renamed Crossvine at Connerton and will feature organic and ethically and responsibly grown coffees from A Cup of Organic, along with teas, pastries, sandwiches, soups and salads. Crossvine at Connerton will also have café-style seating plus a membership-based business center for meetings and neighbors working from home.

“We are thrilled to retrofit Crossvine at Connerton into a usable and requested amenity based on the feedback of our neighbors. So many in our community are looking for a fun and useful space as so many parents are now working from home. This space became even more prevalent and needed for the community. We can’t wait to unveil the new center to everyone,” said Mark Metheny, division president for Lennar in Tampa.

Crossvine at Connerton will have its soft opening in mid-October and its café will be open to the public and the Connerton community which currently consists of about 2,000 residents.
