5. Leaven Brewing in Riverview is brewing with locally-grown hops, thanks to research efforts by the University of Florida. The company plans to use its 10-pound allotment in an upcoming beer release. Most breweries use hops from outside the state, but many are hoping to change this. (Osprey Observer)
