Man Fatally Shot In Tampa: Felon Charged With 1st-Degree Murder

A 46-year-old man has been charged with first-degree murder after being accused of shooting another man Friday night in Tampa.

TAMPA, FL — A 46-year-old man has been charged with first-degree murder after being accused of shooting another man Friday night in Tampa.

According to Tampa police, around 11 p.m. officers were called to Main Street and Rome Avenue where a man had been shot. He was taken to the hospital where he died from his gunshot wounds.

Timothy Fulgiam Weeks was charged with premeditated first-degree murder.

Witnesses told detectives that Timothy Fulgiam Weeks was the shooter. The U.S. Marshal's Task Force arrested Weeks at 1522 W. Lasalle St., Tampa, on charges of premeditated first-degree murder and felon in possession of a firearm.
