J-Roll purchased the waterfront abode for $3 million in 2012 when he was still playing for the Philadelphia Phillies. The team's spring training home is at Spectrum Field in Clearwater.
The shortstop spent the first 15 seasons of his career with the Phillies. When he was traded to the Los Angeles Dodges in 2015 and then the Chicago White Sox in 2016, Rollins didn't have much use for a home in Tampa.
When he retired in 2017, he opted to return to his home state of California permanently, first selling his New Jersey estate and now putting his Tampa home on the market.
