Weather Forecast: The forecast for the Tampa Bay area calls for partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the 80s. Temperatures drop to the 60s a night. Little chance of rain during the week with a 20 percent chance Monday and Tuesday and that percentage dropping Wednesday through Saturday.

Sports Alert: Need to catch up on sports happenings from Sunday: The Tampa Bay Rays lost to the Boston Red Sox, 2-1. The Tampa Bay Lightning lost to the Nashville Predators 4-1 Sunday night. And don't forget the big game Monday night as Villanova faces Michigan for the NCAA men's basketball championship.
TRAFFIC ADVISORY: One southbound lane of Bayshore Boulevard (Howard Avenue to Gandy Boulevard) will be closed 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. daily beginning Monday, April 2 as part of the final phase of the Bayshore Safety Enhancement Project. Also, a portion of Kennedy Boulevard (Ashley Drive to N Boulevard) and Plant Avenue (Brorein Street to Kennedy Boulevard) will be closed April 2-6 for utility construction.

Coming Events: Dunedin Highland Games will hold its Pipe Band March on Friday, April 6 in the downtown area. The annual festival taps into Dunedin's Scottish roots and features pipe bands, dancing and competitive games and sports, like the tossing of the caber. Watch the color of tartans and sounds of the pipes as bands from all over march down “Main Street USA”. The event also features Highland dancers, Scottish clans and societies. The parade route steps off from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office parking lot on Louden Avenue, north to Main Street, then west down Main to Broadway. Broadway south to Scotland Street, back east to Douglas Avenue, and ending at Pioneer Park where a traditional Ceilidh (a Scottish Party) will be held. Parade steps off at 6:30 p.m. The games and festival takes place Saturday at Highlander Park. Tickets for Saturday's festival are $15 in advance. For details, click here.
