MOSI Set To Host Tampa Bay Hurricane Expo
The 2016 Hurricane Expo for Tampa Bay area residents is set to take place this Saturday.

TAMPA, FL – The 2016 Atlantic Hurricane Season is right around the corner, and the City of Tampa, Hillsborough County and the Museum of Science & Industry want to make sure Tampa Bay is ready.
The 2016 Be Ready Tampa Bay Hurricane Expo will take place Saturday, May 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at MOSI, 4801 E. Fowler Ave. in Tampa.
The event features activities for adults and children, educational displays, tips from experts, safety demonstrations and emergency vehicle displays. Vendors will feature safety products, personal disaster preparedness kits, home retrofit products and more.
This year’s event theme is Be Ready Tampa Bay, which will focus on the importance of taking action before a major disaster to ensure residents can recover successful and thrive after a storm.
The admission to the event is free, but MOSI is offering $5 all-day admission and free parking MOSI will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the day of the event.
