Muchachas Mexican-Inspired Cuisine To Join Heights Public Market

Muchachas is the second concept within Armature Works from entrepreneur Stephanie Swanz of Empamamas.

TAMPA, FL — A new concept from the creator of popular vendor stall, Empamamas, has opened at the northern end of the Heights Public Market. Muchachas features Mexican-inspired cuisine such as street tacos, burritos, street corn and the increasingly popular birria quesatacos, a dish that has been making big waves on social media and is sure to be a signature dish.

Taking the place of Pane Rustica Due, Muchachas joins the lineup of 19 dining options and is located just two stalls down from Empamamas.

Stephanie Swanz got her start with a food truck in 2016 and two years later opened Empamamas within Armature Works.

"The opportunity to open a second concept at Armature Works was too good to pass up” said Swanz. “I truly feel like Armature is the best location in town and I've always felt lucky to be a part of it. I'm very thankful to Chas Bruck and his team for trusting us with this new venture."

She said Muchachas appeals to a different customer than the ones at Empamamas and brings a new type of cuisine to the food hall.

"I have a sincere passion for entrepreneurship and while a new concept was not in my plans for 2020, it was exactly what I needed” Swanz said. “I'm looking forward to finishing 2020 off strong."
