National-Ranked High School Runners Sign With Division I Colleges
Mary Ellen Eudaly and Caroline Lehman run for the team at Cambridge Christian School, ranked No. 1 in the state.

TAMPA, FL ? Nationally ranked Cambridge Christian School high school runners, Mary Ellen Eudaly and Caroline Lehman, will officially sign with Division I colleges on National Signing Day.
Eudaly a two-time state champion, holds a top five all-time record for the 1-mile with a time of 4 minutes, 44 seconds.
Eudaly also ran the half mile in 2 minutes, 13 seconds; the 2-mile in 10 minutes, 17 seconds; and her personal best for the 5K is 17 minutes, 35 seconds. She will sign with national running powerhouse University of Arkansas.

Lehman, a three-time state champion, Adidas National 5k champion with a time of 16 minutes, 53 seconds and 2-mile Florida record holder with 10 minutes, 14 seconds, will sign with the University of Notre Dame.
Eudaly and Lehman have been teammates at Cambridge Christian School, 6101 N. Habana Ave., Tampa, under coach Ray Friedman. The girls used to compete on rival teams, but since joining the same team have been able to train together and push each other to faster times.

Earlier this year, Eudaly won the Florida State Championship for the 1,600-meter race with a time of 4.44.80, the fifth fastest in the history of Florida.
Lehman won the Florida State Championship with her time of 10.16.48.
Their team is ranked No. 1 in the state and 25th nationally.
The signing will take place at the school Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
