NFL Supports The Crisis Center Of Tampa Bay During Kickoff Week

TAMPA, FL ? The 2021 National Football League season started in Tampa with a Thursday night game Sept. 9 between the Super Bowl LV champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Dallas Cowboys.

To help kickoff the 2021 season and show their support for the local community, NFL staff visited the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay on Tuesday, Sept. 7 with a special donation. The NFL presented the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay with backpacks loaded with school supplies. These backpacks will be used to help youth and families who receive trauma counseling, care coordination, and sexual assault victim advocacy services at the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay.

In addition, the NFL representatives provided a gift card that will be used to provide lunch to Crisis Center of Tampa Bay staff at a date in the near future.
