TAMPA, FL — Nigerian immigrant and former human resources professional Adeola Shabiyi is opening the residential cleaning brand Home Clean Heroes in Tampa Bay on Feb. 1, marking the brand's debut in Florida.

Shabiyi will be servicing from Land O Lakes to Ellenton and St. Petersburg. He'll be bringing 30 new jobs to the area over the next two to three years.

"I chose Home Clean Heroes for a number of reasons," Shabiyi said. "First of all, most people want a clean home. The home cleaning service is in demand all seasons. I also liked that, with Home Clean Heroes, I could eventually pull back from day-to-day operations and focus on other important aspects of the business like managing and developing my employees, embedding a culture of customer service excellence, and building the business."

Shabiyi immigrated to the states with plans to achieve the American dream - business ownership.

"I immigrated to the United States from Nigeria back in 2004, and it's always been my goal to achieve the American dream," he said. "I look forward to fulfilling that dream, but more importantly, being the vehicle that helps other people achieve their American dream by creating jobs and wealth opportunities in my community for them to attain."

After graduating with a doctorate degree, he worked in the corporate world for 20 years, holding various HR and business operations positions at global companies like Frito-Lay and Citigroup. He even started his own HR consulting firm, Dolsh Consulting.

When the pandemic hit, Shabiyi began considering other opportunities that could withstand any economic situation. That's when he came across Home Clean Heroes. The business is one of the few thriving during the coronavirus pandemic as people spend more time at home and more money on home services, especially cleaning and disinfecting.

"My dreams are to grow the Home Clean Heroes brand into a multi-territory franchise and build a multi-brand corporation" he said. "Eventually, I'd like to add more brands to my portfolio in the in-home senior care, auto and food industries."
