Ray C. Fuclan

Ray Castaneda Fuclan, age 65, late of Shorewood, and formerly of Bolingbrook, passed away suddenly, Monday, April 13, 2020 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center.

Born October 31, 1954 in San Fernando, La Union Province, Philippines, he was the son of the late Antonio and Gasparita (Castaneda) Fuclan. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and was employed as a Registered Nurse at Westlake Hospital, Melrose Park, and later for the Veterans Administration at Edward J. Hines VA Hospital.

He married his beloved wife, Cecile, and she preceded him in death in 2013.

He is survived by his two sons, Rainier Fuclan of Tampa, FL, and Ryan Fuclan of Shorewood; and his extended family overseas.

Cremation rites have been accorded and services will be held at a later date at which time entombment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum, Hillside, will take place.
