Pizza, Wings Robber Apprehended: Tampa Police

Tampa police say they've arrested one of two people accused of waylaying a pizza delivery driver and stealing a pizza and order of wings.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa police say they've arrested one of two people accused of waylaying a pizza delivery driver and stealing a pizza and order of wings Tuesday.

Around 2:30 a.m., the driver was delivering pizza and wings to 11331 Autumn Court. He left his car running and went to the apartment only to be told that the person living there did not order pizza.

As the delivery driver was headed back to his car with the pizza and wings, he was stopped by two men who grabbed the food. Once the driver was back in his car, he realized his cell phone and wallet had been stolen from his car as well.

Officers were able to link the phone number used to place the pizza order to Nehiemiah Isaiah Miller, 18, of Snowfall Court. When officers went to his home, they found the pizza and wing box, the delivery bag and the delivery driver's wallet.

Miller was charged with burglary of an unoccupied conveyance, robbery by sudden snatching and petit theft.

The second robber is still at large. He is described as Black, about 5 feet 7 inches tall with a medium build, in his late teens or early 20s. Anyone with information that could assist detectives in identifying him is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay.
